- Pre-plan your trip and make sure you have your navigation set up for your trip and allow for things that can not be anticipated because with construction and accidents things are bound to pop up.
- Make sure you have an emergency kit in the vehicle. With the weather getting colder and nastier make sure you have everything that you may need in case your vehicle breaks down, including blankets and flashlights.
- Make sure you keep your gas tank pretty full. You do not want to get stuck somewhere where you may run out of gas.
